Monumental Steps come

Kindergarten will come whether I like it or not.  I love the stages my kids are in.

Anna-- is adorable and fun but is crazy into everything!! She can reach and pull everything out of the bathroom drawers and cupboards.  She also likes to pull out everything in from under the kitchen sink.  She crawls down the stairs and the will turn around and sit.  She used to swing her feet, but now thinks it fun to stand and lean forward.  It scares me like crazy.  Luckily she does this with a bit of noise and i  know when she is on the stairs. She like to lean over the sides of our open stairwells which is inconveniently wide enough for her to fall through. Let just say she keeps me on my toes. She eats and eats as well.  She had three pear halves and two eggs for breakfast. Sometimes I find half of it under her bum wen I pull off her tray... At the doctor's office Anna was in the 91% for height and 51% for height.

Eli has a great imagination.  He and Lydia will imagine all day. Today he engineered the idea to round up almost all the pillows in the house and pretended they were bulls. He lassoed them up in the living room.  At one point he had all the pillows in his lasso and was dragging them around the house.  He pretends his feet are horses and rides them around everywhere we go.  If I want to encourage him to speed up I just say, "Where is your horse?  How fast can you ride it? "  At the park today both Lydia and Eli where riding the feet horses, then the played pirates. They were fighting over who was to be captain.
At the doctor's office the On July 22 he was the 71% for height and 50th for height.

Lydia-- is growing so tall. She has long legs and needs a size 7 pants. We went school shopping, at once upon a child, and bought her some stylish clothes.  She has some dresses and a pair of royal blue pants and a pair of skinny jeans.  The skinny jeans fit her so perfectly. She also just recently wanted bangs and a trim. So we cut her hair.

Her bangs might still need a little touch up before school. I still can't believe she is off to school.  I am glad she is starting here in Casper, Wyoming.  The school system is wonderful and the teacher dedicated to teaching.  She is team taught by Mrs Halock and Mrs Owen. There are 36 kids that are either taught together or split into two groups.  She also has a reading group that is made of students that  are all on her same level.  She can move up or down depending on how she fast she learns.  She had the play dough out today pretending that she was making pizza and then it was a souffle. All of the sudden she was in a cooking competition.
Lydia is my dress up queen.  She is often found with a skirt and whatever else she can find, like a sheet and Anna's leg warmers.

We mad a tissue paper dress.  So fun for us to try to mold. Next time I think I would do one out of colored paper.  It probably would photograph better.
