Crawling

This is the way that Lydia is crawling. She is just so anxious to get around that she trys whatever she can.

We dressed Lydia in all purple the other day. She has fun purple cat slippers and the jacket is so fun too. We couldn't help but dress her in all the cute purple stuff we had.

Here are some fun pictures of Lydia. She is army crawling with a bit of rolling from side to side to get around. It is fun to see her trying to get up on her hands and knees.

Laughing Lydia

Lydia has been laughing more and more lately. She has a great laugh and finds joy in the simplest of things. She has always been a smiley girl but the laughs are not as frequent. It is fun to hear it more and more.

Dress for Lydia

I made this dress for Lydia. I was so excited because it was my first attempt to make her anything. I was sure that it would fit. If it didn't it would at least be big. Nope, was I ever wrong. I finished last Saturday in hopes that she could wear it Sunday. Well the arms were tight and zipping the zipper was almost impossible. We, my sister and I, got it on for the pictures. I am not sure if you can tell in the picture but there is a big gap at the top because the waist was to tight to pull down. It also took two of us to get it off. I am glad that I tried it on Saturday night instead of Sunday morning. I guess next time I will measure her more carefully.

Hot Pad Drawer

Lydia loves to play in the hot pad drawer. She likes to pull everthing out of it. She was giving us some good smiles. She is such a happy girl.

The Cutest Pajamas

These are the cutest pajamas that were given Lydia by her Grandma Dalton. I would put her in them every night if I could. I wasn't sure they would fit because they looked so long. As soon as I tried them on I realized that they were not that big on her. They were actually a little tight around the thighs but there is still a little room around the tummy. I guess my little girl is growing up. I am sure that is the way it will be now. I will look at clothes and tell my self that they won't fit her, but they will. At six months she is wearing 12 month clothes and has two teeth. (Isn't it cute that she is crossing her legs) She does that when she sleeps.
Yep! Two teeth broke through the gums on March 11. She is such a trooper. Toughing it through the pains. I just thought that she was sick I didn't know she was teething.

Aunt and Uncle

Here are a few more pictures. I am not very consitent on updating. Lydia is sure growing. She doesn't seem to slow down. I can't believe that she will be six months in just a little bit. She is are pride and joy. So happy all the time.

Valentine's Day Weekend

On Valentine's Day weekend Ben's Parents came. They took us all out to dinner. It was so nice to have Ben's sisters Lauren and Lesley here too. We all enjoyed each other. At dinner Lydia was laughing as Grandpa played peakaboo with her.
