I made this dress for Lydia. I was so excited because it was my first attempt to make her anything. I was sure that it would fit. If it didn't it would at least be big. Nope, was I ever wrong. I finished last Saturday in hopes that she could wear it Sunday. Well the arms were tight and zipping the zipper was almost impossible. We, my sister and I, got it on for the pictures. I am not sure if you can tell in the picture but there is a big gap at the top because the waist was to tight to pull down. It also took two of us to get it off. I am glad that I tried it on Saturday night instead of Sunday morning. I guess next time I will measure her more carefully.

It is a beautiful dress! Better luck next time on the sizing. Of course, they grow so fast that if it takes too long to make the dress it'll be too small no matter how carefully you measured.
What a shame. It's such a beautiful spring dress! I wish I could sew that well.
Has spring arrived in Rexburg yet? Here in Germany, winter still refuses to leave no matter how much we all try to scare it away... :-)
