Lydia Jumping in the Pool
It took her a couple of tries to get it but once she did she did awesome.
I can't help but be so proud of her.
In the last week Lydia's swimming skills have accelerated to the point now where she will jump in without any help. She love to jump in and we have to be cautious now because I am sure she would jump in without us looking. My friend, Melody, bought a learning life-jacket for her daughter. It has inserts that you can pull out as your child gets better with swimming. She let Lydia try today. She started swimming across the pool. She knew that she was swimming all by herself and she thought it was the best thing ever. Although she did get tired fast. I am so proud of her. She sure is growing up so much. She has always loved the water. I also had a friend and her five kids come over and swim. I think it helped that there were other kids that were swimming without their mom. Lydia wanted to be big just like them.
She has now been potty trained for the last two and half weeks. She sometimes has problems with making #2 in the toilet and she wakes up in the middle of the night and I help her go to the bathroom. It works out because I usually wake up to go anyway.
Here are few fun pictures of her trying on her Dad's shoes.
She put on the shoes and hat all by herself and the pose is completely genuine too.
We had a busy day. We also went to lunch in the park. Lydia love the chocolate milk. Tonight during prayer time she wanted to thank Heavenly Father for the chocolate milk that she had had earlier. She gave be the biggest smile after we did that.
Chocolate Milk
We often go to the park with Emma. Lydia and Emma play so well together. The don't really talk much but somehow they communicate and they love to get together.

I am proud of her too! What a big girl! And so fast! You look like you guys are having tons of fun! Only a few more weeks till her little brother! YEA!
It's been forever since I looked at your blog! I love all of the new updates and pictures. Montanna is really doing well potty training too. She hasn't had more than 1 accident a day for about a week and there have been a few days where there have been no accidents! It is so nice!
That tiny girl in those huge shoes - hilarious!
It does look like you're having tons of fun. I just wish I could come over and join in!
I hope you're doing okay in the heat and I am already looking forward to seeing some pictures of your little boy!
Love,
Kirsten
Chocolate milk, cheetos and peanut butter with jelly! I picked the wrong day for Emma's white shirt and my khaki shorts. And I love that Lydia figured out how to swim. Man, I must be an awesome swim instructor. ;)
Lydia is adorable. I love all your updates with videos and pics. Wish we lived closer.
