Happy Happy Birthday!! Lydia

Birthday morning.
Lydia and her birthday pillow.  She loves her princess pillow that Grandma made for her.  She wanted to wear her new pajamas to but they were still a little warm.

The castle cake!  The m&ms melted a bit.  The sprinkles added just the right touch.  Thank you Grandma.

We made princess birthday hats with toole streamers.   The girls liked them although they didn't wear them long.

We bought her a crown and fun jewelry.  Her new outfit came from out neighbor, Gail.

Doll from Mom and Dad.

Got a pictures of the only bite of cake.  She loved the way it looked but has never been a fan of eating cake. Karen brought over dress up clothes. All the girls had fun with.

Bubble fun. Love the smile.

The ballet shoes were from Aidan. A perfect gift for Lydia.

Yeeha and Yahoo! with a little oh man and Hang in there- September

Yahoo!!
In September Ben´s job offer was finally extended.  He applied for the job in May got a interview in July.  He went to orientation in August and finally got the job in September. We were so excited and anxious to get him started on his apprenticeship. He left right away for the Salt Lake Area.  We moved down three weeks later at the end of the month. We are currently here for a month and then we will move to Logan, Utah at the end of the month.
Hang in There
The kids and I survived a three week period without.  This included Lydia´s birthday and party on the 22nd and lots of fun outing to the park and library.  I feel like my kids are the best in the world.  I know I probably a little biased.  They were really good for me.  I learned to appreciated them more because we were missing, Ben.  I did not realize how good we had it until he was gone.  I am so blessed with a husband who works hard and who loves us all.  We were also blessed with good friends and neighbors that helped us out.  Here are some of the things that we did while Dad was gone.

Played in the trees.

Walked to the park.  I would carry the pack and push Eli and Lydia would ride in the stroller.  I would also do this to get out and workout.

Got out the swimming pool. The water was not very warm., but they both loved it.  They could have been out there all day.

Family Reunion

Over labor day we got together as the immediate Erickson Family in Star Valley,  Wyoming.  We gathered together as a family. Miraculously we were all present, all the siblings and their husbands and kids.  We also has fun getting to know Josephs finance, Eliza.

The wait- August

Lydia loves to dance.  She is so interested in the art of ballet.
Happy.  She just got her new outfit from Grandma and Papa

In the month of August we got to see lots of Ben.  It was good because for most of September he was gone.  Eli loves his dad.  I would say that he is a daddy's boy.  He walks around the house saying, Da Da.  August was the month of waiting for that job that we were blessed with in September.  Ben is dark from landscaping.

Ben's old cap.

He used to point his little finger like that a lot.

The Climbing kid.  He can climb on about any chair and even gets on the table.  When the toilet seat is down he can climb on the toilet and stand on that. We just keep the bathroom door closed.

We went swimming a  lot in August.  Ben was able to go with us.  We had some fun family times. We went in the snake river.  There was also a rope swing that Ben and I would take turns watching the kids and jumping.   The first couple of times we went, Eli would sit and float there all reclined. He soon was not happy with just sitting.  He wanted to swim.  Both kids love the water.

Eli's birthday.  It was a crazy day because we went travelling to Rexburg that day.  He didn't quite understand the candle thing.

He loved the cookies.  He wasn't sure what he should do with the clothes. But we appreciated them. He looks so cute in them too.  More pictures to come .

A walk down memory lane- July

Yeah he has got a big mouth and no I didn't let him keep it after I took the picture.

Love the chin.  He has certainly walked that off in the last few months.

Cousins can't live without them.

Ride that buckin'... Zebra

Cute girls

This is an expression of their personalities.

At  the end of July we were able to make a trip up to Ben's beloved Montana. What a fun trip to get reacquainted with grandparents and the beauties of the earth.
Beautiful  cabin.  Loved to spend time there.

Of course take time in the boat.

Lydia liked climbing the bunk beds in the cabin.

Swimming in Flathead lake.

Lydia modeling the read swmimming suit.  I believe it once belonged to Lindsey.

 Cousin Aubrey.

Eli and Grandpa sure had a fun water time.
