The wait- August

Lydia loves to dance.  She is so interested in the art of ballet.
Happy.  She just got her new outfit from Grandma and Papa

In the month of August we got to see lots of Ben.  It was good because for most of September he was gone.  Eli loves his dad.  I would say that he is a daddy's boy.  He walks around the house saying, Da Da.  August was the month of waiting for that job that we were blessed with in September.  Ben is dark from landscaping.

Ben's old cap.

He used to point his little finger like that a lot.

The Climbing kid.  He can climb on about any chair and even gets on the table.  When the toilet seat is down he can climb on the toilet and stand on that. We just keep the bathroom door closed.

We went swimming a  lot in August.  Ben was able to go with us.  We had some fun family times. We went in the snake river.  There was also a rope swing that Ben and I would take turns watching the kids and jumping.   The first couple of times we went, Eli would sit and float there all reclined. He soon was not happy with just sitting.  He wanted to swim.  Both kids love the water.

Eli's birthday.  It was a crazy day because we went travelling to Rexburg that day.  He didn't quite understand the candle thing.

He loved the cookies.  He wasn't sure what he should do with the clothes. But we appreciated them. He looks so cute in them too.  More pictures to come .

A walk down memory lane- July

Yeah he has got a big mouth and no I didn't let him keep it after I took the picture.

Love the chin.  He has certainly walked that off in the last few months.

Cousins can't live without them.

Ride that buckin'... Zebra

Cute girls

This is an expression of their personalities.

At  the end of July we were able to make a trip up to Ben's beloved Montana. What a fun trip to get reacquainted with grandparents and the beauties of the earth.
Beautiful  cabin.  Loved to spend time there.

Of course take time in the boat.

Lydia liked climbing the bunk beds in the cabin.

Swimming in Flathead lake.

Lydia modeling the read swmimming suit.  I believe it once belonged to Lindsey.

 Cousin Aubrey.

Eli and Grandpa sure had a fun water time.

I thought this was so adorable.  Cousin Bryn with all her rocks.

Lydia Dressing up!! She does this all the time.  This particular time she had a stash of clothes in her basket for later.

We went to a friends house and tried on my wedding dress that I had borrowed from her.  Lydia talks about weddings and getting married.  She loves princess and pretty dresses.

He has changed so much.  Here is my little baby.  His coat was so cute on him.

Videos

I have been anxious to get a few videos on our blog but... better late than never right?

This is Eli jumping in his bed.  Crazy kid.

This is eli laughing his head off. Funny huh?  He does this quite often and especially when he is tired.

Pictures and More pictures

Its about time I made it to the library for a new post.  Eli and Lydia are both growing so fast.  Lydia wants me to teach her how to write her letters.  She also loves the great outdoors.  Eli also love to be outside and is often is calm once we are outside.  Otherwise he is as busy as ever.  He is so active and is crawling from room to room.  He also jumps in his bed and love to stand up anywhere.  Today he was standing up next to the fridge pounding on it and squawking in way that seemed to say,"Open up"
Here is a group of picture of what has happened to us in the last month and a half.
Yesterday we went on a hike to a place called Turner Gulch.  It was tons of fun.  We went with our friends, Matt and Chantel  and some of their family. We went about two miles round trip.  Lydia walked most of it.  Ben packed most everything else.

She has the funniest faces in these last two pictures couldn;t help but show them off.

Lydia's Hair in the three ponytails . She wanted to be like Marigold a character in one of the books we read.

Modeling the dresses I want to sell on esty.

Eli is standing  everywhere.  He tries to pull himself up on everything.  When I lay him down for a nap he pulls himself up in his crib and then doesn't quite know how to climb down.  He is getting so big.  In the last two weeks he has learned to army crawl and then crawl and now he is standing.  I can't keep up with him and he seem so old all of the sudden.
About three weeks ago the kids had check ups.  Eli is in the 95% for height and weight and he is about 21 pounds.  Lydia is also int he 90 percentile for height but only the 75th for weight.  She still weighs 30 pounds.  Our little family is growing up.  I didn't get  a chance to post that video but look for it soon.
